Colorado Leadership Alliance (CLA)
Colorado Leadership Alliance (CLA) is a program of the Denver Metro Chamber Leadership Foundation. CLA fosters leadership development at the university level. El Pomar supports students of the CLA at the nine campus programs in Colorado. While each university's leadership program is tailored to fit specific needs, all CLA programs share several key features, such as academic coursework in leadership, internship and externship experiences, extensive community service requirements, and merit-based scholarships for selected students. CLA operates as an umbrella program to enhance the development of each campus program through shared curriculum, speakers, and joint-fundraising endeavors. El Pomar supports CLA and its member campuses through an annual leadership symposium and the El Pomar Scholars Program, which provides tuition assistance and additional leadership skills training. El Pomar is a founding supporter of CLA.
